4th of July is one of our favorite holidays! Kip and Lon played with sparklers on our deck, and lit off fireworks in the common area behind our house. Blizzard, Kip's dog, wasn't afraid of them, which surprised me. Too bad the holiday fell in the middle of the week, so we couldn't really go anywhere without using precious vacation time from work. Next year is Leap Year, though, so it will be on a Friday. Can you say "Long Weekend"?
